| Janne! You have to read it! If you think, that your time is up, you are wrong! For years I watched your performances, every time I saw your jumps I felt, that after few years will remain nothing without YOU! I'm from Poland, we had Adam Malysz, now we have Kamil Stoch, but Ski Jumping without Janne Ahonen is like football without Maradona and Pele. Never give up Janne! If you think you don't have power enough, you should remember about me, and thousands like me! I watch Ski Competitions for YOU! Your are my Idol, You are my idea of Ski Jumper! It doesn't matter that You don't have Olympic Medal! Sometimes it's only big luck. YOU are the greatest Ski Jumper ever. The best for years. I know, that you want to continue Your career in Ski Jumping, so remember: You will never walk alone! Even if you will be 50th, or 169th, You will be THE BEST! Best wishes Janne! I'm proud of YOU! |

| Dear Mr. Ahonen, I visited the tournament in Garmisch. It was for me the first time ever to visit a skijumping event but I have been watching the Sport on television for more than 20 years now and I am a fan of you for a long time. I wish you all the best for Bischofshofen and the rest of the world cup season. I hope you will win the Olympic Gold medal this year in Sochi. Ski jumping without Ahonen is not the same, so please keep doing it as long as you are feeling good and fit enough ! Best regards from Germany ! ! |
